Mahala
AQHA Filly DOB May 2007, shedding off black, no white markings Sire: CH Menominee Wind Dam: The Country Dutchess, own daughter of Country Classic
Mahala is sired by grullo IBHA Supreme Champion Stallion Menominee Wind (the ONLY one to date). He is also homozygous for the black gene. He is an all around pleasure horse deluxe! View his titles and read more about him. Her dam is The Country Dutchess, a grulla mare with points in Reining, WP, Halter, and Dun Factor. Her sire was AQHA Hall of Fame, Classic Country. She has an incredibly sweet and gentle disposition and is the love of my life. Mahala was imprinted and handled daily for the first few weeks. She's been trailered with Mom several times. I've then gotten busy and just finished halter breaking her this Spring. She did cut the corner of her mouth at a couple weeks old and it was repaired. It isn't very noticable but the corner of her mouth on the left side is extended about 1/8" and has some scarring if you look close. My vet felt it was fine for a bit seat, but we will look at it again to see if we could do anything further cosmetically. Mahala is shedding off black and has no white markings. She can be enrolled in the AQHA Incentive Fund. This is a very nice filly and I wish I had time to invest in her and keep her. Although I believe she is worth much more, I will consider the poor market and her need for more attention than I can currently give her. To a good home only, and priced to sell. Show home given special consideration. Price reduced: $2000 FIRM (current photos coming as soon as she finishes shedding)

These aren't "pretty" pictures, but they will do for now.
