I fell in love with the Cairn after looking for the ideal family pet. As a person that loves animals and grew up on a farm raising Siberian Huskies, Persian cats, and Quarter Horses, ethical breeding has become my passion! We fell in love with the Norwich Terrier and added our first Ch Norwich in 2008. My goal as a breeder is to offer a family environment to our dogs and puppies, and to raise healthy, quality, AKC Cairn Terriers according to their breed standards. I approach ethical breeding with the goals of improving the health, confirmation, and disposition of the breed through a carefully selected breeding program. I'm interested in certifying my dogs for therapy or other non competitive activities. We are not currently showing due to our family obligations, but breed with the same goals and guidelines in our breeding program.
I received my BA in Psychology and Art in 1995. I then obtained my Assoc in Nursing and RN in 1999, and worked in Obstetrics. I have since quit working as an OB RN to stay home with our young children.

Being aware of the problems of pet overpopulation, I find it necessary to ensure that my puppies and dogs have wonderful forever homes. Buyers agree by contract to spay, neuter, and offer a forever home or contact me so I can assist in placing them in a forever home. I am strongly against placing animals in shelters, rescues, etc and feel that responsible human actions could cure the problems and issues of pet overpopulation. As a result, it is my goal to educate the public and support responsible pet ownership. I breed 6-9 litters per year. My first litter of Cairn Terriers was in 2003 and our "Cairn family" has grown to over 160 families. I enjoy keeping in touch with families, receiving photo updates and have become friends with many of my customers. My website is intended to be a virtual visit and answer the questions of anyone who wants to learn about the Cairn or Norwich Terrier or myself as a breeder.
